Paul Tauber was a panelist during the TAG Alliances 2025 Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting in Bali, Indonesia. His panel covered the effect of greater Chinese regulatory control, geopolitical trade tensions between China, Europe, and North America, and the impact of the U.S. federal election results on the Asia-Pacific region concerning tariffs, import taxes, and the dismantling of multilateral trade agreements. The panel also included a discussion of the implications of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreements for Trans-Pacific Partnership on Asia-Pacific trade, including with Canada, Mexico, and shortly with the UK.
